The project is the construction of a new Science Block on the campus of Teign School, Kingsteignton.
The build consists of 7 No. science labs all equipped with built-in workstations and fume cupboards, prep room, staff room and WC’s.
The project included the below methods of construction technologies:
- Strip and pad foundations
- Steel frame construction
- Metsec framing system
- Kingspan insulated cladding
- External aluminium windows & doors
- Feature brickwork panels
- M&E Services & BMS Integration
- Hybrid Ventilation Heat Recovery (HVHR)
- Installing new increased utilities
- Safety vinyl flooring throughout
- Lab fit-out (benching, workstations, fume cupboards and desks)
- Surface water attenuation drainage
- Pumped foul water drainage
